Fast Food = Forever: Jackson Ms Styled Engagement

Susan and Joel are such a fun couple. When I met them for the very first time, they told me about their first date at Krystal’s. As soon as they mentioned it I knew we were a perfect match! Stephen had been wanting to take a picture in front of Krystal’s by the “Hot Off The Grill” sign. I knew they were just the couple for that photo! Unfortunately, the sign was gone before their engagement session, but we still had fun hanging out in Krystal’s reminiscing about their first date.

Susan has a love of photography, so we knew we wanted to include cameras in their session. We had a blast with some old Polaroid cameras throughout our session and they even had a few decent instant photos to take home.

I think it is obvious from the photos that we all had a great time! We are looking forward to hanging out again soon and thank you for choosing Joco Foto as your wedding photographers in Jackson, Ms!

And now I’m hungry :)

Darby: Jackson Ms Senior Photography

I had the honor of photographing Darby during spring break. Darby is a senior this year and just as beautiful inwardly as she is on the outside. We are so blessed that she loves our babies and is willing to spend time with them while we are shooting weddings or engagements. We will be sad to see her move off in the fall, but so happy for all that lies ahead for her! Congratulations beautiful girl, we wish you the best!

She is such a beautiful young lady! I love how light and airy these turned out. The last one is definitely my favorite.

Mr. and Mrs. Figueiredo: A Mississippi Gulf Coast Wedding at the Biloxi Visitor Center

Stephen and I usually try to meet with our brides and grooms prior to the wedding if possible. Unfortunately, we were not able to do that with Courtney and Brandon before the big day. Courtney assured me the week before the wedding that we didn’t have to worry about them being okay with their pictures being taken because they weren’t shy and we would feel like we had known them forever. Aside from the fact that Brandon tried to convince us that his name was actually Brayden, she was correct! We immediately felt like part of the family.

Courtney and Brandon actually met in 6th grade. Courtney told us that she used to pick on Brandon and call him Burrito Figueiredo because it rhymed. Amidst all of the picking they found love. We were so honored to be able to witness just a little of that on their wedding day. Their love for each other was so evident and their wedding was absolutely beautiful. I wish there was room to add all of the images from their big day!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Burrito! Your day was just as stunning as the two of you! Thank you for allowing us to be your gulf coast wedding photographers. We wish you much happiness in your new life together!Biloxi Beach Wedding PhotographersJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerOld Camera Detial shootsJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding PhotographerJoco Foto: Your Jackson Mississippi Wedding Photographer

“I Pick You” : A Mississippi Fruit Stand Engagement

Last weekend We had the opportunity to hang out with this fun couple and takes some awesome photographs. They love shopping at produce markets so we were excited to be able to include a local Mississippi fruit stand in our photography session. We met at Donna’s #6, just outside Jackson, MS and they were gracious enough to accommodate. When Ashleigh and Davis suggested using a fruit stand we immediately knew we had to include a picnic complete with cupcakes topped with fresh fruit. Ashleigh had the perfect place for our picnic, Twin Lakes, and to our surprise, they brought several really awesome props to the session as well. These two were so fun and at ease during the session which made for some great pictures. I love that Ashleigh is such a sentimental person and actually brought her mom’s dress that she had worn for her engagement pictures several years ago; we can’t wait to see the details at the wedding. I hope you guys like the sneaks and I can’t wait to hang out with you at your wedding in May. We are certainly the luckiest photographers with the best brides!  Also featured on Engaged and Inspired!

These are precious! My favorite shots are the fruit stand with them hugging with the people in the back ground and the one with him serenading her. Love them all, though! Great cupcake shots!!!!

Mustache You a Question Engagement: Jackson Ms Wedding Photography

The other weekend Tami and I had the opportunity to spend the evening photographing Lauren and Sonny on the beautiful Natchez Trace just outside Jackson, MS. The weather was beautiful for pictures and these two were tons of fun to hang around with. The are very much dog people, just as much as Tami and I are photography people! They had three rather large dogs to include in the pictures. We thought having them walk the dogs would be a great picture, but I couldn’t stop snickering at poor little Lauren being dragged along by Vera (her dog). We had so much fun with you two and can’t wait to photograph your wedding in August!
