Two Weddings in One Day| Meridian, MS Wedding Photographer

On July 14, 2012, the whole town of Meridian, MS was bustling with news of a unique wedding taking place that evening. Two sisters and two grooms. We, with the help of our great friends, Adam+Alli Photography, had the honor of photographing the wonderful event. I can no longer say that I have never been at a wedding where there was a line waiting to get in an hour prior to the ceremony!

Rachel and Robert had been engaged for a while and waiting for Rachel to graduate before their big day. When Laura Anne and Chris got engaged, mom jokingly suggested a double wedding. The girls weren’t going for it! Later at an MSU game, the girls brought up the idea to their friends and much to their surprise their friends thought it was an awesome idea. After some thought Rachel and Laura Anne decided to share their wedding day. To make the story even better, Rachel and Laura Anne have an older sister who celebrated her fifth anniversary on the girls’ wedding day!

Rachel and Laura Anne were both gorgeous brides and their grooms were equally as handsome. I loved that even though they were having a double ceremony, they each had their own individual personalities in so many of the details.  It was truly a beautiful day and we are so thankful we were asked to be a part.

If you happened to be looking for family or friends in Meridian, MS on July 14th, look no further. I’m sure they were partying with rest of us! I kid you not about how many guests attended Rachel and Laura Anne’s weddings.Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Westbrook and Mr. and Mrs. Cox! We wish you the best and thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your special day!

Mr. and Mrs. Holden | Jackson MS Wedding Photographers

Stephen and I had such a great time celebrating with Susan and Joel last weekend! Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and I LOVED that Joel actually made Susan’s bouquet! That has to be one of the most awesome things a groom has ever done for his bride!

I have no doubt that Joel truly loves Susan. Shortly after their engagement session, my grandfather became very ill. When Stephen went to drop off their engagement pictures with Joel, he asked about my grandfather and shared the sweetest story with Stephen. He told Stephen that he knew the meaning of true love because of watching the way his grandfather cared for his grandmother before she passed away. Shortly after he knew he wanted to propose to Susan. What a legacy his grandparents have passed along!

Thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers in Jackson, Ms!  We have really enjoyed getting to know you both and your families! We hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and enjoy the sneaks!!

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan | Laurel MS Wedding Photographer

Ashleigh and Davis are such an awesome couple! We have truly enjoyed getting to know them. If you keep up with our blog, you may remember that Ashleigh actually wore the same dress in some of her engagement photos that her mom wore for her engagement photos. When Ashleigh told me this, I knew I liked her and that her wedding would surely be wonderful and sentimental. I am proud to say I was right. Their wedding definitely did not disappoint and we were honored to be their wedding photographers!

Ashleigh and Davis chose to get married at the beautiful First Trinity Presbyterian Church in Laurel, MS. Not only was the church fabulous, it was also the church Ashleigh’s parents were married in. So many sentimental and personal touches filled their wedding day!

We hope you guys had a wonderful time on your honeymoon and, Davis, we are so thankful you didn’t give Ashleigh the chance to say no to a date! You guys are absolutely perfect together! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to share a little piece of your love story and to be your Mississippi wedding photographers!

Mr. and Mrs. Garrett | Jackson, MS Museum of Art Wedding

Stephen and I had the honor of photographing Jaime and Darren’s beautiful Jackson, MS wedding at the Mississippi Museum of Art this past weekend.  Signature Occasions did a wonderful job of helping Jaime plan her big day and the florals by Wendy Putt were absolutely stunning! We loved all of the personal touches throughout the wedding.

Jaime and Darren met when he came in to the restaurant she worked at with a friend of hers. Jaime says she remembers thinking Darren was interesting to talk to while Darren says he just remembers thinking Jaime was very pretty. Whatever they thought at that time, they obviously knew there was some chemistry there and over time Darren has learned that he loves more about Jaime then just her beauty. In fact, if you ask Darren now what he loves about Jaime his answer is that she is easy going, funny and easy to talk to.  We would have to agree with Darren about how easy going Jaime is. She was such a laid back bride. She enjoyed her wedding day and didn’t let anything bother her.

We enjoyed spending the day with you guys and your families. Hope you have a wonderful time in Montego Bay! Congratulations guys! We wish you the best and thank you for choosing us as your Mississippi wedding photographers!

Looks great, as always! Adore that ring shot! Love the colors of her flowers, especially at the reception. The second to last shot is just just beautiful! But, I think the ring bearer and flower girls are my favorite! :)
